Gosnells and Southern River sit at the critical transition zone where the flat Perth coastal plain meets the rising slopes of the Darling Range foothills. Newer developments, particularly in Southern River, have been built on cut-and-fill sites that create fresh retaining wall requirements. The combination of challenging terrain, variable soils and a mix of new build and replacement demand makes Gosnells one of Perth busiest areas for retaining wall construction.
